- Get sieve bags: Sieve bags are available in different mesh sizes to separate trichomes of different sizes. To produce 3 x filter hash, you will need three different sieve bags – one with a 220 micron mesh, one with a 73 micron mesh and one with a 25 micron mesh.
- Fill the larger sieve bag: Place the sieve bag with the 220 micron mesh on a bucket and fill it with the cannabis leaves and flower heads. Add ice water to the bucket to cool the plant material and facilitate separation of the trichomes.
